Each Xantus handheld system is available with either 532, 785 or 1064 nm Laser Excitation. Xantus-1 was created  for fast, accurate field identification of both hazardous chemical substances. Battery operated, light weight, ruggedized and easy-to-use, the analyzer delivers fast and accurate identification of unknown materials. The Xantus platform has been designed to accommodate different excitation wavelengths and detector array options, providing the most flexible and cost-effective RAMAN spectrometer available today. Smaller more compact versions are available in the form of the Xantus-0 and Xantus-mini.

 

Intuitive and easy-to-use built-in computer interface

 

Xantus-1 runs on BaySpec’s Micro 20/20 software that has an intuitive, streamlined user interface and can output data in csv or other formats for easy importing to other applications. Baseline correction function is intelligently built in, which greatly facilities reduction in fluorescence interference and accounts for drift in background. Xantus-1 not only has no moving parts but also has its sensitive optical engine shock-resistant mounted, resulting in a ruggedized instrument that has withstood the rigors of field testing.
