RIGAKU NEX-CG

RIGAKU NEX-CG

High performance benchtop Polarised Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer, for high precision sample screening and ppb detection limits

RIGAKU has been involved in the field of X-Ray Spectroscopy for 25 years. They have offered high quality solutions in the field X-Ray Diffraction and Wavelength Dispersive XRF serving many applications.

This new generation of Polarised EDXRF spectrometers capitalises on this long standing experience in the field and seeks to bring the best performance out of the well documented advantages of the use of cartesian geometry

MAIN FEATURES

  • LN2 free high-tech Si – detector
  • Cartesion Geometry in X-Ray optics (polarisation) for unrivalled detection limits
  • Matching library software allowing accurate quantification of unknown sample matrices
  • Easy-to-use software
  • Special “Ultra Carry” for low ppb detection limits of aqueous based samples

Why use Polarised X-Rays?

By applying a specific cartesian geometry and secondary excitation, most of the backgroud signal caused by backscattering is eliminated. Therefore detection limits of sub ppm to ppb limits can be achieved. This is on average an order of magnitute better than standard EDXRF systems.
